Bareback!
My girls love to ride bareback. They had me ride bareback for the first time and, boy, were my legs killing me after just one time around the arena. I guess I'm just old! And here is Brooke loping bareback! I'd fall off for sure!

My dd's been taking lessons for a while. She's invited this summer to go to the stables one day a week with 1-2 other girls, work with the horses, wash them, much stables, etc. I'm feeling really GUILTY, because with our plans for moving, this will not be an option for her. She absolutely adores "her" horses, and they are different than friends--she won't be able to email them . . . :(

I used to ride with a friend (years ago) and in the cold northeast, bareback was the way to go...all that "horse" heat!
