Sleepy Friday

I have not had much sleep this week, due to unexpected bleeding teenagers on the doorstep at 3 a.m. one night (no, not Joshua) and a crazy girl who calls all hours of the night (34 times between 11:00 and 11:54 p.m.), so I was VERY tired today. We came home from swim practice and I took a little 45 minute nap. I got up and tried to be productive, but the "force" was not with me. :^) Delilah and I walked over to the construction site and I picked up trash from the concrete workers, piled up boards, moved stuff around. But the day was cool and since I was sleepy, I sat on the cool concrete and found where a leaf had blown in.....

This will be in our closet. We have to little leaf prints that will be in the closet and one that will be under the cabinet in the bathroom. Then while sitting there, Delilah came over and lay down in the bathroom.

She likes the cool concrete, too. It is dry, but it is not cured yet. There are still dark places in it. We'll need to wait until it is uniformly pale before staining. Anyway, after taking this picture of Delilah, she scooted over to me. I laid back on the concrete and she combat crawled over until she could rest her head on my belly. A nice breeze was blowing. This is the view looking up from my bedroom.

After this shot, I turned the camera off and Delilah and I rested for a few minutes before getting up again once again trying to be productive.
