Today, my baby turned 12!
When your baby, your youngest child, the very lastest one, is a dozen years old, you cannot be classified as a "young mother." Not by any stretch. :::sigh:::
And for her birthday, she received a digital camera. A PINK digital camera. Her request.
And clothes. And money to take on the trip to the beach with her friend this weekend. And Mike and Ike's to eat on the way. Because what is a birthday without tooth decay?
Happy Birthday, Morgan. I love you!

Happy Birthday Morgan!
Yes, it's weird when you graduate from 'young Mum'. Mind you, I had my kids so late I'm not sure I EVER qualified!{g} But I used to like to try and fit in with the Young Mums!
I'm always glad that I still have our little one (just turned 5) because I can still pretend I'm younger than I am. I'd really like to have another one or two, but my dh says no.... I suppose planning to have more so I can remain "young" isn't a very solid argument (LOL).
Ahhh - sorry we missed it. Looks like she had a fabulous day!
Happy Birthday, Morgan! Our two-legged sister was just 12 in April and she got a camera, too!
Morgan is 12 - wow! Happy Birthday - days late.
Ginger - if the definition of young mother is a child younger than 12 - I'm IN. ::snort:: 12 is such a milestone....Arielle's about there.... doesn't it seem that life goes into warp speed when they hit that age?
I'm catching on my blog reading - way behind here. My son turns twelve this month. He's almost taller than I am. He's pretty happy about that!
