Tonight was Hostess Club. I wanted a layout that brought in thankfulness, but didn't want to do a "turkey-day specific" page. *I* don't have a ton of Thanksgiving Day pictures, so I wanted something adaptable. I decided to do a simple page entitled "Thankful 4 U." I went WAY back when grabbing pictures - this adorable little baby is Joshua!!!
Scrappin' Supplies: Cardstock - Really Rust, Purely Pomegranet, Old Olive, Whisper White, and Fall Flowers Designer Series Paper. Ink - Old Olive and Chocolate Chip Craft Inks. Accessories - Clear embossing powder, Prima flowers, and copper brads.

Thank you for welcoming me to the SHS group! I am so happy to find more blogs to visit. :)
We are just one state away from each other. Although if you have to drive all the way across Texas, it counts as three states. That is a long drive!
I really like your scrapbook page. Very nice colors. I have a large collection of scrapbook stuff, but haven't made anything since May. Sigh...I am itching to cut and design.
Beautiful page. I wish I had the courage to tear paper. I try it and then find the page looks too scruffy to my eye. I like what you did though!
SO CUTE! You host one of these every month, right?
Renae, I've been from my city all the way to Brownsville, TX when I was 13. On a chartered bus. In summer. With no a/c. It took AT LEAST 13 hours, but it seems like it was longer.
Dorothy, Stampin' Up! has a product called The Tearing Edge - it's a slightly jagged serrated edge that you use as a guide to tearing - it makes the tearing more precise, which in a way tickles me. My SIL loves hers.
Cynthia, I teach the class every month, but the members take turns being hostess - which means THEY bring the food. :^D I'm only hostess for one month, but I design the layout every time.
